Stonywood Cottage is a semi-detached stone cottage located in the village of Drumnadrochit in the Scottish Highlands. The cottage sleeps four people in two first floor bedrooms - one double and one twin. On the ground floor is a bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC, a fitted kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with woodburning stove. Outside, there is off road parking for one car at the rear of the cottage, along with an enclosed front garden with furniture. There is good walking in the area and Loch Ness is nearby, making Stonywood Cottage a great base for exploring the lovely scenery of this part of Scotland. From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain's best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.

Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair on request. Off road parking for 1 car at rear of cottage. Enclosed front gravelled area with furniture. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 4 mins walk, pub 2 mins walk. Loch 10 mins walk. Note: No cars should be parked on the lane at the front of this cottage. Note: Check-in 4pm.

Drumnadrochit is a Highland village close to Loch Ness, offering the Loch Ness Monster Exhibition, a shop and post office and several cafes/tearooms. Walking can be enjoyed on The Great Glen Way, a 73 mile path which runs through the village on its way to Inverness. Inverness itself is only 14 miles away, home to an array of facilities including shops, pubs and museums,while Culloden Battlefield at Culloden Moor (NT), is also within easy reach.
