There is ample off road parking within the estate grounds. There is private use of a patio and lawned area with furniture as well as shared use of the communal grounds. One well behaved dog welcome. Cressbrook is located on the River Wye and its focal point is the mill, which was built in 1779. Follow the footpath upstream of Cressbrook Mill to Water-cum-Jolly, which is superb for rock climbers, birdwatchers and walkers. North of the mill lies the lane to Ravensdale, which is adjacent to Cressbrook Dale, a gorge-like limestone dale with numerous crags and the remains of several lead mines. Cressbrook Dale is a National Nature Reserve renowned for its range of rare flowers.
