"Great location overlooking the Esk. The apartment is within easy walking distance of the old town whether staying with an elderly relative or with very young children and the secure parking within the development allows easy access to the main road if you want to venture further afield. We have used a number of holiday rentals in the area and would definitely look for the availability of Richardson Court in future."

"Clean, spacious 3 bedroom apartment. Had everything we needed plus great views overlooking the River Esk and the railway (with regular steam trains). Secure indoor car parking, with an easy, flat 10 minute walk to the center of Whitby meaning that we didn't use the car all week. Whitby had loads going on, even in October nothing was closed. Had day trips out on the Coastliner bus to York and Scarborough, also used the steam train and went up to Pickering, Walked along the beach to Sandsend one day for lunch, not a squeak out of the kids or their grandparents. Everyone had a great time, will definitely come back again."

"First the good bits: Lovely flat with 3 bedrooms one double which is en suite and two twins. Nice bright decor. Dining table in living room area which will seat six. The two sofa's in the living room are very low set and encourage you to slouch in the seat which is very soft, these are almost impossible to get out of if you are elderly or have issues with arthritis. In the main bedroom there appears to be some kind of structural fault that should be looked into as there is a very large crack coming down one wall and another above the window. The bathroom is well equipped though the shower is very pernickity when adjusting the water temperature. The water pressure is low and the shower head could do with either being cleaned or replaced. An ample kitchen area with a toaster that only works on the right side. Good sized fridge freezer and a decent washing machine. Loads of storage for all your foods and drinks. The flat overlooks the River Esk where you can watch rowers pass by and on the opposite bank there is a train line where you can watch the steam trains going in and out of Whitby. In general the booking agent and owner were both excellent with us as we had to make a change to our booking and they gave us service above and beyond that which was expected. The service alone would encourage us to return. "

"Well equipped, clean, secure apartment in good location, pleasant 10 minute walk to the centre of Whitby and less than 5 minutes to good fish and chip shop."
