"The location was easy to find, the outside was very inviting and the inside certainly didn't disappoint. The converted barn had a lovely homely feel to it and everything you could ever need was on hand to use. The place has two spacious bedrooms and a lovely open plan kitchen/diner. The hot tub was a huge added bonus after a long day out walking, we used it at night making full advantage of the power jets and night lighting. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place and would definitely stay again if I was in the area. It's only just over a thirty minute drive into the centre of Blackpool or lytham st. Anne's. The barn overlooks fields out the back and we spent ages watching the lambs bouncing around, there was also pheasants wandering around in the mornings. There are several local walks and the area is very scenic. There's also a Sainsbury's and an Aldi close by along with a few local village shops."

"This place is a little gem. We had the absolute best time here and cannot fault it. Everything was perfect and we had everything we needed for our getaway. The additional little touches like the welcome pack, wine, hot tub and log burner were excellent and well needed. The place is clean and comfortable and they have really thought of everything. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone for a well needed break. The facilities were excellent and having the open plan kitchen and front room were an added touch. It meant that me and my husband could be cooking or watching tv and still be together. There is a sainsbury's about 5 minutes drive and also an Aldi about 7 minutes drive. Your also only around 30 minutes away from Blackpool which is amazing. Will definitely be booking our stay in the near future. Thank you so much for making our stay perfect."

"Immaculate property with everything we needed for a peaceful break. Fantastic views of both sunrise and sunset and a wonderful hot tub with adult bathrobes provided. Ideally situated for fun days out in the Lake District and Blackpool, and just 20 minutes walk from the village shops. Highly recommended."

"The Shippon, is everything you could want in a holiday break. We have just had 4 nights there. The Cottage is immaculately clean inside and out. It has everything inside you would need on a Self Catering break. The owners left us a lovely welcoming gift The cottage has an the added bonus of a hot tub that looks out over amazing scenery. The owners made us feel very welcome. There's a Sainsburys shop 5 minutes away by car, and a lovely Country Pub The Derby Arms 5 minutes walk from the Cottage. Across from the pub it a little Farm Shop selling local produce. I would deffintly recommend The Shippon."

"What a stunning place to stay. Beautifully designed cottage with quality fixtures and fittings no expense spared. Loved the hot tub too it was very inviting after a day of walking in stunning countryside. Hosts Nick and Hayley are so friendly we had a good laugh with them! A wonderful little holiday..thank you."

"This is quite possibly one of the most beautiful, well thought through houses we have stayed in. It was incredibly clean, and very thoughtfully designed. It had everything you needed, including a lovely welcome pack, the hot tub was a wonderful addition, particularly when you have small children needing to get in to bed and know you will be staying in most evenings. I honestly couldn't recommend this place highly enough. We will definitely be looking to go back at some point."

"Superb cottage in great location just 20 minutes walk from Longridge.town centre. Top quality facilities no expense spared in all aspects with ultra modern equipment. Kitchen is a dream, beds super comfortable, hot tub a real bonus. Owners live next door and very helpful whilst being unobtrusive. Unbeatable accommodation ideally suited to exploring the Ribble Valley, Blackpool, morcambe, lancaster etc. The only improvement would be a larger frying pan."

"The cottage is lovely and spacious and nicely decorated. The open fire and hot tub are nice. The location is ideal for Manchester and Blackpool. Nice welcoming pack on arrival. Great time had ."

"We stayed here for a week over February half term. The cottage is immaculate and very well equipped. There was a great welcome pack on arrival including tea coffee wine and biscuits. There are lovely views over the countryside and a fabulous hot tub. It is in easy reach of lots places to explore. We had a wonderful week "

"Set in the lovely Ribble Valley the location is great. There are some of the best pubs I've ever visited, with great food and a wide variety of real ale. This is a great place for family or couples and caters for pretty much everything you need. The facilities are superb and the quality of the furnishings are of a very high quality. The hot tub was wonderful and very private. Sat in it having a chilled glass of wine looking out onto the fields where the only thing watching us were the sheep was fabulous. I do recommend getting the optional breakfast hamper as this was very convenient for us and the quality of the food was good. We'll definitely visit again"
