Overview

This terraced, granite cottage is in the village of Halvosso, near Falmouth and sleeps four people in two bedrooms. Kitchen leading to attractive dining and living room with large inglenook fireplace. Stairs to first floor family bathroom. Two bedrooms, 1 x double, 1 x twin. Rear garden and off road parking.

This traditional terraced cottage is in a rural hamlet, yet close to the sailing waters of Falmouth with passenger ferries to St Mawes, Flushing and Truro. It has one double bedroom and one twin room and sleeps up to four people. There is a family bathroom with bath and shower over. On the ground floor is a well equipped kitchen and a spacious dining/living room with inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove. Outside is an enclosed pretty and secluded garden with rear access to the parking area. This is a delightful cottage for a family, a couple or small group of friends and Halvosso welcomes well behaved pets too. Cornwall's visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain's premier holiday destinations.

Falmouth, with its magnificent natural harbour (the third largest in the world), winding streets and beaches, will keep you occupied for hours. The town's old harbourside pubs, excellent shopping, art gallery and stunning National Maritime Museum simply complete the picture. Pendennis Castle, built by Henry VIII, is Falmouth's most popular attraction, sited on its own peninsula with superb panoramic sea views. Across from Falmouth harbour is the beautiful town of St Mawes, surrounded by the rocky coves, sandy beaches and lush green countryside of the Roseland Peninsula. Go there by car (15 miles) or take the passenger ferry from Falmouth (15 minutes).
