This traditional character cottage is close to Wells and sleeps up to three people. Ground Floor: Lounge/Diner with convertible sofa. Kitchen. Shower Room with shower, WC and washbasin. First Floor: Bedroom with king-size bed.
Close to the beautiful cathedral city of Wells, the Mendip Hills - an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Somerset Levels is the small hamlet of Yarley. Surrounded by countryside, the open landscape is ideal for outdoor sports and leisure activities such as walking, climbing, abseiling and horse riding. In Yarley is The Cider Barn, a traditional character cottage with superb views of the Mendip Hills. Three steps lead to the front door and the kitchen, through to the lounge/diner which has wooden floors, stone-faced walls and a traditional cast iron electric fire. The Cider Barn has a pretty bedroom which is open to the stairs and has windows on three sides with wonderful views. From the lounge, glazed doors open onto a small, south facing seating area with bistro table and chairs. Somerset offers 3 areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty - the Quantock, Mendip and Blackdown Hills. Lose yourself in the glory of nature, take a ride on a steam train, visit a traditional farmer's' market or explore your mystical side at Glastonbury.
