St Dogmaels is a tranquil village surrounding its ruined abbey at the mouth of the River Teifi on the totally unspoiled west Wales coast. The village has four pubs, a fish & chip shop, a Post Office, a cafe and a small museum at the abbey. There is also a pretty green and a millpond with ducks. Nearby is the wonderful Poppit Sands where you can relax on sunny days or enjoy invigorating walks in the cooler months, as well as exploring the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast Path. At Dogmaels is the start or finish of the 186 mile Pembrokeshire Coast Path from St Dogmaels to Amroth.
