The town of Carmarthen boasts the River Tywi, the ruins of a Norman castle, the site of a Roman amphitheatre, a museum containing Roman relics and shops, pubs and restaurants. Carmarthenshire boasts walking, cycling, bird watching, fishing, and golf, plus attractions include country parks, stream railways and castles. Carmarthen is in a superb location and the area has something for everyone.
