Reviews
"Stunning house inside and out with beautiful views from the back of the house. The house was very clean and beautiful decorated. Lots of little extras that were very helpful on arrival (tea, coffee, dishwasher tablets, logs for the fire etc) The beds are very comfortable and the log fire was a perfect way to finish off any day. People in the Newborough village very friendly and helpful. Lots of lovely walks through the woods and down on the beach. Worth a visit to the little island at the end of the bay (blessed island). We had a fabulous time here, made lots of lovely memories and really didn't want to leave."
"If there were 6 stars we would choose them. We were looking for a relaxing place to stay from which we could explore beautiful Anglesey. We found Forest Lodge which provided way more than we expected. It is contemporary, stylish, has loads of character, incredibly well stocked and we very much enjoyed the peaceful, cosy evenings watching the sun set from the back deck. It is close to a stunning beach, forest walks, a friendly village and a short drive to other sight seeing spots. All of which we enjoyed while we were there. We have since recommended Forest Lodge to friends who appreciate good quality accommodation as it is a superb spot."
"The place itself is lovely and has a fantastic view with a shop not too far away, the house itself comes with alot of the necessities for arrival such as tea, coffee and sugar, cleaning supplies, dishwasher tablets and washing tablets, they also provide a dog food bowl and water bowl and doggy do do bags which I think is a lovely touch. There is a washing machine which is really useful however there is no dryer within the facility and with it being in the UK the weather is not practical enough to only have the one machine as the clothes airer that they do provide takes an awful long time to dry clothes. The decking in the garden is a great place to sit if the weather is nice but it isn't child safe due to the drop onto the grass, for an adult it's not a huge of a drop but for a child it could be quite dangerous. The garden is partly sectioned off but could do with being fully enclosed especially for dogs and small children. The furniture is practical and modern but not necessarily comfortable for long periods of time. The house is spacious and toasty warm without the heating on and it is aesthetically pleasing, would recommend the lodge to anyone but there is a few factors that could do with taking into consideration for future families who wish to stay here."
