Reviews
"Our extended family have just had a week's stay here & we did not want to leave! The owners were so friendly & generously welcomed us with homemade cakes & fresh flowers. Great size of house with a layout that worked really well for big family meals, playing games & relaxing. We loved the pool & sauna, the games rooms & the garden. The weather was fantastic & we were able to use the barbecue & to eat outdoors on the delightful terrace. Ideally placed for visiting lots of interesting places & enjoying walks & countryside. Pubs serving delicous food only a short drive away. Would love to return."
"After a recommendation I booked the Coach house for mine and my granddaughters birthday, it was the perfect choice. Arrived to a lovely batch of chocolate brownies and a pot of tea. It is right on the moors, so lots of nice walks. The children thoroughly enjoyed the endless pool and especially the farm. The owners Tim and Victoria were very welcoming and were on hand at all times. You can wander around the farm, which is a breeding farm and the children were ecstatic at being able to feed the orphan lambs, I think that was the highlight of their trip. We took our little dog, who was welcomed by the owners 2 dogs, who wander in and out. Our dog became the lady of the manor, sitting on the front doorstep watching over her patch!!! Back to the house, it has all the provisions for a large group. The bed was so comfy, with a big fluffy duvet and pillows. Only niggle was, with 3 children who like to get out into the mud and rain, we needed to wash clothes regularly, but unfortunately the washing machine did not work. We phoned the owners and Tim came over straight away and got it going, but then it gave up. We washed everything by hand, so, a new one would be beneficial, however, this in no way impacted on the break. So overall I would definitely comeback. Thank you Tim and Victoria."
"We stayed here for a weekend while kayaking the rivers of Dartmoor. It was an excellent base for a large group, with plenty of space. The house is comfortably furnished and well appointed. The leisure facilities were a great asset too."
"A group of us stayed here between the 4th - 14th November and this house was a wonderful place to have a base. It was comfortable and well equip I would be happy to stay here again."
