A delightful award-winning market town on the River Tavy, nestling in the south-west slopes of Dartmoor. Tavistock has an indoor pannier market, a diverse range of shops, an excellent choice of pubs, bistros, restaurants, a theatre and a cinema, as well as a leisure pool.

"This property was not required for a short break, we booked the Shippen for two months to accommodate us while our new build was being completed. It was especially important that the house was really well equipped as we would be working from this base. We were not disappointed. I was even able to continue to make my own soups with garlic press and blender provided. A very well appointed property in a beautiful spot. Highly recommended."
