Overview
This Devon cottage is situated in a hamlet near the Dartmoor village of Throwleigh and can sleep six people in three bedrooms. Three bedrooms: 2 x double (one super king with en suite bathroom with bath, WC and basin, the other king size with en suite shower room with shower, WC, basin), 1 x twin with en suite shower room with shower, WC and basin. Downstairs kitchen with dining area. Sitting room with wood burning stove. The cottage has a good-sized utility room where wet coats and laundry can be dried over-night as it houses the central heating and hot water tank meaning it is always warm.
Moorhaven is a comfortable cottage converted from a stone barn beside a traditional Dartmoor inn near the Devon village of Throwleigh. The cottage sleeps six people in two double bedrooms with an en suite bathroom and an en suite shower room and a twin bedroom with an en suite shower room. On the ground floor are a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with wood burning stove. Outside is an enclosed private garden at the back with garden furniture and views to Dartmoor over the little pub garden at the front. A mile from the moorland village of Throwleigh, Moorhaven is a fine base for a holiday enjoying Dartmoor and Devon. Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

A picturesque town at the northern point of Dartmoor National Park in Devon, Chagford is small in size but is packed with amenities and things to do. There is a wide range of shops as well as four pubs. Chagford also has more active facilities such as public tennis court and an open-air swimming pool to enjoy at your leisure.
