Hamel Down Hideaway is a sweet little semi-detached cottage in the heart of Dartmoor, two miles from the Devon village of Widecombe-in-the-Moor. The cottage sleeps two people in two double bedrooms with bathroom. On the ground floor is a sitting room with wood burning stove and dining area and a galley kitchen. Steps down to a bathroom and a lobby. Outside is an open shared garden, with pond, covered with a metal grill and 23 acres of fields which lead to the open moor. Close to a famous traditional Dartmoor village, Hamel Down Hideaway is a perfect place to walk and tour Dartmoor and Devon. Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
