Clampitts is a semi-detached cottage a few hundred yards from open Dartmoor in the Devon village of Throwleigh. The cottage sleeps five people in a double bedroom, a twin and a single with family bathroom and downstairs shower room. On the ground floor are a sitting room with wood burning stove and a kitchen with solid fuel Rayburn and dining area. Outside is a garden enclosed by a hedge with lawn and a patio with furniture. With a beautiful part of Dartmoor on the doorstep, Clampitts is an excellent cottage for a memorable Devon break. Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

A picturesque town at the northern point of Dartmoor National Park in Devon, Chagford is small in size but is packed with amenities and things to do. There is a wide range of shops as well as four pubs. Chagford also has more active facilities such as public tennis court and an open-air swimming pool to enjoy at your leisure.
