Electric fires with night storage heating. Microwave, fridge-freezer, washer-dryer, dishwasher, TV with DVD, WiFi, Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair available on request, Off road parking for one car. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Pub just a short walk up to the square from property.

A picturesque town at the northern point of Dartmoor National Park in Devon, Chagford is small in size but is packed with amenities and things to do. There is a wide range of shops as well as four pubs. Chagford also has more active facilities such as public tennis court and an open-air swimming pool to enjoy at your leisure.

"our first stay in chagford but definitely not our last. the cottage was perfect for two people although a downstairs loo would have been nice. the bathroom upstairs was huge and well appointed. the kitchen was also good. the only negative was I couldnt figure out how to use the washing machine so my clothes came out weird . chagford has just about everything you could need and the locals couldn't have been more friendly."
"Pineapple Cottage, named for the door knocker on its blue door, provided us with a perfect base for a week of exploring Dartmoor National Park. It is located just steps away from the town square, with all the services and great food and drink you could want. The cottage itself was well-decorated, well-equipped (especially the kitchen), and spotlessly clean. The owners, Sonia and Alan Fynn were most welcoming and helpful. Parking is the only issue with this prime location, but since we were visiting in an off-season, we were able to park nearby on the street."
