Cot available on request, Off road parking for five cars. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry no smoking. Pub less than 1 mile from property. Note: This property has a private water supply which is tested regularly. Note: This property has no outside lighting so torches are recommended.

Dunster is a popular tourist village near the North Somerset coast and is a largely unspoiled spot: the centre of the town retains many old buildings which hug the winding cobbled streets.

""Our Christmas holiday plans were disrupted due to the bad weather and Helpful Holidays, Angie the Caretaker at Heyden, and Heyden's owner could not have been more obliging, so we were able to "adjust" our timings rather than abandon plans altogether! And we are so glad that we did...Heyden Cottage is delightful; spacious yet cosy, and very well set up for a rural retreat with all mod-cons and comforts. The situation is fantastic - in a clearing on a wooded slope, tranquil but not too remote. We shall return in the summer, when hopefully it will be full of birds and butterflies. Given the appalling weather, it was great to be able to step out from the front door with the dogs and take rain-less opportunities for walks as they presented - no need to jump in the car and transport wet dogs! Such a relaxing time and wish we could have stayed longer!""
