Reviews
"We couldn't have asked for more. There was afternoon tea set out for when we arrived, including some treats for the dog. The cottage is immaculate and has everything you could wish for and more. Fresh flowers in each room, fluffy bath robes and very good quality furnishings all round. I noticed in the visitors book that many of the guests return over and over again and I am not surprised, we will hopefully too. I am difficult to please, but this place was perfect."
"Lovely little cottage - ideal getaway spot. Beautifully presented, with little extras including local produce and doggy treats on arrival. Super clean and tidy and things like the helpful info pack tells you the owners really care about us having a great visit. Thank you for your hospitality"
"Wonderful quality furnishings, lovely quiet street next to the churchyard. The chiming clock takes a bit of getting used to at night, but can't go wrong with this lovely cosy cottage in the heart of beautiful Dunster. Super!!"
"You would not find a poor review of this delightful cottage, my own from October last year was fairly comprehensive, the cottage is perfect, in a perfect location. If you like good taste, appreciate good quality, cleanliness and comfort then this is the cottage for you."
"We booked Bodkin cottage on the strength of the previous review and were not disappointed. This is a delightful cottage, tastefully furnished with very good quality appliances and equipment. Lovely John Lewis china very pretty linens. As clean and as comfortable as home. Beautiful pastel blue kitchen, stylish sitting room and bedroom with a good mattress! The over the bath shower was not a problem and it really worked! Everything sparkled On our arrival we found a tea tray laid out with a delicious cake, milk in the fridge and even dog bowls with dog biscuits and a few 'poo' bags. Fresh flowers in the kitchen and lounge and a full log basket. Every tiny detail had been thought of. The owner even rang to check everything was satisfactory . There is so much to do in and around Dunster we could not fit in to our long weekend, we did The River Walk, the Bats Castle Circuit and walked to Minehead via Dunster beach and the South West Coastal path, as we've yet to visit the castle and explore Exmore further we will be booking Bodkin Cottage again next year. All in all a perfect cottage in a perfect location."
