This splendid huge manor house is situated a mile from the Devon town of Ottery St Mary and can sleep 22 people in 13 bedrooms. Five second floor bedrooms in two attics: First attic: 1 x twin (can convert to super king size double), 1 x twin with en-suite bathroom, with bath with shower attachment, basin, WC. Cadhay is an historic and very special Tudor and Elizabethan manor house near the Devon town of Ottery St Mary. The house sleeps 22 people in 13 bedrooms, nine double, two twin and two single, plus eleven bath/shower rooms. On the ground floor are a kitchen, dining hall, study and three reception rooms, two with wood burning stoves. Outside are three acres of grounds furniture and barbecue, lawns, paths, lake and trees, as well as a sheltered courtyard. A mile from the interesting old town of Ottery St Mary, Cadhay is a unique and remarkable manor for a break in Devon. Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Ottery St Mary sits beside the River Otter and is well known for its literary connections to the poet Coleridge and for its beautiful church often referred to as a Exeter cathedral lookalike. Ottery St Mary is also famous for its traditional 'Tar Barrels' which attracts more than 3000 visitors on 5th November each year.
