Torrings Barn is a pretty cottage converted from a barn beside a house in a little country hamlet on a creek to the River Avon in Devon. The cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms, a double and a bunk room with a shower room. On the ground level is a sitting room with dining area and a kitchen. Outside is a sunny seating area with furniture and parking for three cars, plus space to leave canoes and kayaks. Less than a mile from traditional inns in the village of Ashprington, Torrings Barn is an excellent cottage for a relaxing break in South Devon. Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
