Two bedrooms up separate staircases: 1 x double with en suite shower room with shower, WC and basin, 1 x twin. Ground floor bathroom with bath, shower over, hand shower, WC, basin. Sitting room with wood burning stove. Kitchen with dining area. Four steps up to additional seating area.
The Cottage is a thatched, detached, Grade II listed cottage in the little South Devon village of Loddiswell. The cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms up separate staircases, a double with en suite shower room and a twin. On the ground floor is a family bathroom, a sitting room with wood burning stove and a kitchen with dining area and steps up to an additional seating area. Outside is a spacious enclosed garden at the back of the cottage with outdoor furniture and a barbecue, as well as space for storing bikes and surfboards. Just 150 yards from the heart of the village with its pub and shops, The Cottage is an excellent base for exploring the whole of the South Hams on a Devon break. Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Pub less than 1 mile from property.

The village of Loddiswell lies at the heart of the South Hams, deep in rich farmlands, amidst unspoilt rolling countryside, and is within easy reach of the beautiful coastline, beaches and estuaries of the South Hams.

"We have just returned from a week at "The Cottage" and it has been wonderful. The property is quaint and furnished to a high standard and has everything that you could possibly want during your stay. There was a welcome tray and flowers which was a nice touch and the cake very much appreciated. We had the "West Wing" which had a steep twisting stone staircase up to a lovely double bedroom with en suite. The other bedroom was a twin and was just as pretty and was accessed by a more conventional staircase. The garden was a hidden gem as you don't expect it to be so big and the views are spectacular. The village itself has a post office, a shop and the local pub does good food. It is a great location to be able to explore the surrounding area and there are some nice walks which you can do from the front door. A lovely stay and somewhere that we would definitely visit again."
