A beautifully presented lodge on the coast of Runswick Bay which can accomodate four people in two bedrooms. All ground floor. Two bedrooms: 1 x double with en-suite shower, basin and WC, 1 x twin. Shower room with shower, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with electric fire.
Holly Lodge is a beautifully presented lodge on the coast of Runswick Bay. The lodge can sleep four people in two bedrooms, which are made up of a double with an en-suite shower and a twin as well as a separate shower room. The rest of the lodge is made up of an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with electric fire. To the outside is off road parking for two cars and a decked terrace to the front with furniture. Set in a wonderful location, Holly Lodge is a great place to enjoy at any time of the year. The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

One of the gems of the East Coast is the lovely Runswick Bay. With its narrow cobbled streets and quaint cottages, this picturesque old fishing village nestles in a small bay just nine miles from Whitby. Backed by spectacular cliffs and moorland scenery, this is not a typical tourist spot; cars have restricted access to the village which makes it an ideal place to relax and unwind without the sights and sounds of the modern world. Reached via cobbled, twisting alleyways, visitors can enjoy the lovely sandy beach - well known for fossil hunting - and various cliff-top walks including the Cleveland Way. Local amenities within Runswick Bay are plentiful and include three local inns, all serving food, and one tea-room. A village shop is provided by nearby Hinderwell.

"First of all, a massive thanks to Christine who was very friendly and greeted us with wine and breads from the bakery. This a last minuet get away for the weekend and we all loved it, the lounge was dreamy and cosy, the kitchen was perfect for cooking and had plenty of storage and amenities for basic cooking, the beds were amazingly comfortable and the bathrooms were lovely. Not too far from local pub and other small villages before entering into Whitby (9miles). We had a slight issue with the showers (not being able to figure it out straight away) Christine was quick to help and explained a little further on what we had to do and in no time there was no issue. Defiantly a place we would all go back to when the weather is better!! :)"
"Me and partner stayed at Holly Lodge to have a relaxing break, and it was definitely that. We had an amazing time. We were made to feel very welcome and comfortable. On arrival we were greeted by Christine who showed us around and left a hamper filled with lots of treats - we loved it!! Also, the accommodation was very, very clean and the beds were so comfy. We loved it so much we didn't want to leave and we definitely would like to go back again. I would highly recommend Holly Lodge. :) xx"
"We stayed at the lodge for the weekend with friends who drove up from Essex. The lodge is beautiful inside and out. Would highly recommend. Lovely touch too leaving wine, chocs, coffee and milk for our arrival. Thank you!"
"We had a 4 day break here . We were greeted by Christine who showed us around this stunning lodge. What a fabulous lodge this is high quality throughout, perfect location, a few minutes walk to the beach also a regular local bus service at the end of the road. The lodge had everything we needed and a lovely welcome gift of wine and chocolate (even a pint of fresh milk in the fridge) can't wait to return !!"
"We visited in June 2018 for short break. Cannot praise it enough. The owner left us a welcome tray including wine, fresh coffee and biscuits. The lodge smelt new as was only 6 months old and it had every home convenience you ever wanted,and beautifully decorated. The master bedroom had a walk in wardrobe and an amazing en suite, and the twin room also had en suite. It was peaceful and near to places to visit including Staithes and Whitby. Fantastic break well done Christine xxx"
