Gas underfloor heating and woodburning stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, a washing/drying room complete with dog shower is provided (shared with one other cottage on site), Smart TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi. Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Additional fuel available to purchase from owner. Bed linen, towels and bathrobes inc. in rent. Off-road parking for two cars. Patio with furniture and hot tub. One well-behaved pet welcome. Strictly no smoking. Shops and pub 1 mile. Note: The owners live in the farmhouse some 30 yards from the property. Note: Due to a steep slope to the rear of the cottage, children should be supervised. This detached, stone-built cottage, a former smithy, is set in the grounds of the owner's farmhouse alongside the river Rawthay. The cottage is on the owners small holding and therefore friendly farm dogs and free range chickens roaming freely. Note: Max 2 people, this property does not accept infants

Sedbergh is a market town at the foot of the Howgill Fells, within the Yorkshire Dales National Park, with the Lake District National Park also nearby. The town offers shops, pubs and 12th century church within its olde worlde atmosphere. Be sure to pay Kendal and Hawes a visit.
