"We stayed here for a 4 night break in November. The lodge is lovely, new, well furnished and equipped with everything we needed. Lovely extra touches also supplied, like homemade cookies and tea and coffee etc. It's clean and cosy with log burner for those colder nights. Truly dog friendly and my husband loved fishing in the lake from the lodges private pier, whilst I loved the fact I could watch him from the warmth of the lodge. Couldn't fault the place and the hosts were wonderful, would highly recommend . "

"We are the first to stay at Hobbits Landing. It is the sister lodge to Willows End which is a very similar lodge but had been used since July 2018. We were greeted by Paul and Chris, a very friendly couple who have spent an enormous amount of thought, attention to detail, effort and money to provide, what we consider, to be the best holiday let to date and will take some beating! Perched on the edge of a beautiful lake, part of a few in the village, the view from the lodge lounge, bedroom and decked patio is perfect. The large Windows in the lounge and bedroom allow you to appreciate it all day. There is very good fishing apparently but we are happy to just watch the fish, ducks, Moorhens, Dragon flies and many species of birds. There are wonderful walks, cycle tracks and bridleways all around the area with some great pubs and restaurants within a short drive. The lodge has been very tastefully designed with every amenity available. It is wonderfully laid out with excellent kitchen and bathroom, no substandard equipment or decor here! Within 2 or 3 miles of Sandown and Shanklin it is an absolutely perfect get-away for couples and base for the whole Isle of Wight. We will be coming back!"
