Electric storage heaters with woodburner. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, TV with Freeview, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburner inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off-road parking. Lawned garden with furniture, please note the garden is not enclosed. Three well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 1 mile. Local fishery is 10 minutes walk away (fishing permit will be required). Note: Steep open-tread stairs to the first floor. Note: Interior has a few steps on the ground floor. Note:The bridle path access to the property is narrow and is uneven, care to be taken when driving.

In the village of Redruth, there is a selection of shops, pubs and eateries, and the town holds a variety of continental markets throughout the year. Attractions close to Redruth include the Carn Brea Trail, The Great Flat Load, which is fantastic for cyclist and dog walkers alike, Tolgus Tin Stream Works, and the Tehidy Country Park. The beach at Portreath is a 10 minute drive, or 2.5 miles from Redruth.

"This lovely cottage is in a remote and private setting. Very well equipped with everything you need. Set in area of lovely dog walks. Dog friendly. Our dog was welcome and the cottage provides a dog bed, ball, bowls, dog biscuits, dog mat... everything you need. The cottage is welcoming for humans too with coffee, tea, sugar, Cornish biscuits.... clean, cosy and welcoming. If you are tall watch your head on low doorways! Ex tin mining cottage and would stay again. Accessed by rough bridle path which can be hard to spot... so try and arrive in daylight!"
"Really lovely cottage. No neighbours, superb views from the windows. Fantastic walks on the doorstep. We are having a great time here. The cottage has everything we need. Drive way is a bumpy track, no good for a low down sports car but fine for normal cars. Love it.Love it, Love it"
