Stanhope is a small market town in Durham, England, situated on the River Wear. The town is surrounded by moorland and is considered an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Stanhope Agricultural Show was founded in the 19th century and has been held in September every year and attracts many locals and tourists.
