Settle is a market town resting at the south west rim of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Tuesday is market day when the square is filled with stalls offering a wide variety of crafts and goods.There is a selection of restaurants and pubs and a public swimming pool. The Victoria Hall has entertainment and other activities such as folk nights throughout the year. Settle is in the midst of walking country and is a good base for touring the Dales, the Lake District and the Forest of Bowland.

"Had a lovely week long stay here despite less than perfect weather! Facilities and amenities are exactly as described. Very comfortable bed with foam memory mattress + ensuite bathroom, with quality Mira shower. Very comfortable lounge. Easy and pleasant 5 minute walk into town - be sure to try the Naked Man cafe, also Booths Supermarket provides an excellent range of fresh foodstuffs - much better than the usual Asda and Tesco stuff. Owner of property (next door) was helpful and friendly. Looking forward to returning here in 2020."
"Instructions easy to follow. Great location only 5 minutes from town centre. Lovely apartment, very spacious and very well equipped. It's an upside down apartment, bedroom downstairs and kitchen, dining area and lounge all one room upstairs but huge just for 2 persons. Would recommend and definitely stay again. Parking on-site and many walks from apartment without using car or take advantage of train"
