Fuel, power and starter pack for fire inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Shared off-road parking for up to 2 cars. Private enclosed garden with decked area, gravel, furniture, and private hot tub as well as a shared lawn. One well-behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 5 mins drive. Please note: The hot tub may not be up to optimum temperature on the first night of your stay.

Glanton is a little gem of a village that lies at the foot of the Cheviots and is in some of the most picturesque countryside that Northumberland has to offer. Glanton has a village store and a public house, but for a wider range of shops and other amenities, the busy town of Alnwick is only nine miles away. Alnwick is also famous for its Castle and gardens, which are well worth a visit.

"When we arrived Hot Tub was not cleaned. Owners did clean the following day. Beds very hard and quilts not warm enough, no extra blankets on offer. Add stats Kingsize bed. It is not, its only a double. Property has been refurbed to high standard and the property was clean. Owner not prepared to offer any compensation for Hot Tub not being clean and available for use on arrival."
"Situated in peaceful countryside near Alnwick this cottage is a great centre from which to explore The Northumberland National Park and The Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty as well as the Scottish Borders. With a well equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge, 4 televisions and 3 toilets what more could you want? A hot tub? Yes, it has that too (and it's well maintained). If it was for sale and I could afford it I'd want to buy it!"
"We stayed here for three nights with two friends and enjoyed every minute of it. We were slightly worried when we saw it only had one review but when we arrived we couldn't have been more impressed. Everything looks modern and authentic with stone everywhere. The surroundings were amazing and there was barely anyone for miles around. The hot tub was a great touch and the kitchen was ideal. There was a great collection of DVD's and games to keep us entertained. There are just a few minor things that we had issues with that I think if changed, could make this a perfect place to stay: The heater in the shed near the hot tub barely changes the temperature of the room. The bath doesn't have a curtain on it so the shower attachment can be difficult to use. The bath is very deep so a handle could be useful. The milk that was left for us was still in date but had curdled (this was only a very minor inconvenience as it was a nice thought to leave the milk) These are all easy to cope with and the only big issue that we had was with the shower. It runs with the strength of a water pistol and violently switches between skin meltingly hot and freezing cold with no notice. This obviously effected our stay as showers were difficult so I think this is the only thing that needs immediate attention. Overall a fantastic place to stay with one major and a few minor changes."
