Reviews
"We wanted a place for a small family reunion and found this cottage on booking.com. What a find! The cottage accommodated six adults and a small dog. We were surprised by the space available in this upstairs barn conversion - a large kitchen, dining & living room area with 3 good size bedrooms and one large full bathroom off a small hall way. There is one master bedroom with a king-size (?) bed, one room with two single beds and a bunk bed room. All beds were suitable for adult size guests and each room had storage space for clothes etc. Bed linen and towels are provided. As the weather in early June was surprisingly cold and wet, we particularly appreciated the washing machine and the radiator drying racks available. The unit has also a dishwasher, plenty of hot water and the heating was excellent. There were no other added costs with the booking. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, except food, for a self-catering vacation. The living area had board/card games, some books and leaflets for local attractions. Outside is a large yard with picnic benches, a children's play structure and a field to walk a dog. BBQ equipment available by request. This is a family business and the owners live on-site. They are very friendly and happy to help to make guests feel welcome without being intrusive. It is a 10 minute drive to Newquay, which makes this an ideal spot for a quiet holiday or a base to explore what Cornwall has to offer. We had a great time despite the weather and would certainly stay there again."
