This stone cottage rests within the owner's land, near the town of Kirkby Stephen and can sleep four people in two bedrooms. Reverse-level accommodation. Two ground floor bedrooms: 1 x king-size double with en-suite Jack-and-Jill shower room with walk-in shower, basin and WC, 1 x double. Ground floor shower room with walk-in shower, basin and WC. First floor open-plan living room with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove. Ground floor utility.
Apple Tree Cottage is a wonderful stone property nestled within the owner's working farm, some six miles south of Appleby in Cumbria. It comprises two bedrooms; two ground floor doubles, one with en-suite Jack-and-Jill shower room, sleeping four people. There is also a ground floor shower room next to the utility and a first floor open-plan living room with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove. To the exterior is a veranda with furniture and a private patio with seating and hot tub. Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

Fuel, power and starter pack for fire/stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Highchair, stairgate and travel cot available. Ample off-road parking. Enclosed patio garden with seating and hot tub, veranda with seating. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 4 miles. Note: Please be aware this property is on a working farm.

"Just spent a 2 night new year break at Apple tree cottage for new year. What an absolute gem. Accomodation is furnished to a very high standard.the outdoor space was perfect and secure for our 2 dogs, one of whom is blind. They loved having free reign and being able to roam freely between house and outdoors. The beds were really comfortable and the bathrooms were lovely. A really nice touch that slippers and robes were provided, as well as shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand and body lotion and hand wash. The hot tub was very much appreciated after a 9 mile round trip on foot to the nearest pub. The distance to the nearest pub is the only negative I can honestly find, however it was a glorious sunny day and we survived !!! The log burner was so cosy and my dogs loved it too. Fresh eggs and milk was a very nice little touch, which was greatly appreciated. All in all an exceptional place,we cannot wait to return !!!"
