This is a lovely stone-built cottage resting in the quiet village of Mellor, on the fringe of the Peak District and can sleep four people in two bedrooms. One double size bedroom, with balcony. Bathroom with roll top bath, WC and separate shower cubicle. Ground floor wet room with shower, basin and WC. Kitchen with dining area. Lounge and separate snug.
Peak View Cottage is a detached cottage, situated in the village of Mellor, on the fringe of the Peak District National Park. It comprises of a double bedroom, sleeping two guests altogether. The interior also plays host to a bathroom, ground floor wet room, an open-plan living room with kitchen, dining area and sitting area, as well as a second sitting room. Outside is off-road parking for 2 cars, garage/bike storage, and an enclosed garden with lawn and patio. Peak View Cottage is a wonderful getaway in an interesting part of the Peak District.

Off road parking for two cars by cottage. Bike storage. Enclosed garden with lawn and patio areas. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Pub and restaurant less than one mile away.

Mellor rests between Marple Bridge and New Mills, on the edge of the Peak District, with farmland occupying grazing livestock in the fields. The small town of Marple lies across the River Goyt, with two railway stations, on the Hope Valley Line, linking to Manchester Piccadilly. Marple Bridge boasts many eateries and coffee shops, and the Roman Lakes are popular with anglers, walkers and cyclists. Buxton is 15 miles away and is well worth a visit for gardens, independent shops and family-friendly attractions.
