"What an absolutely gorgeous place. Location is perfect for Llandberog beach (although it's a steep walk) you could easily drive down, take all your stuff for the beach and then walk home later and go back for the car the next day. Fantastic walks and great runs... if you like a few hills. The cottage is so well equipped and everything you could think of is here. A fantastic welcome basket with homemade bread, Barra Brith, eggs, jam and a bottle of prosecco. Wifi works perfectly and there is even freeview. Yes the stairs are a little steep (if you have young children and anyone with a disability) and some people may have an issue with only one bathroom (which has underfloor heating and is lovely and warm). I have to say, that if you're looking for somewhere where you can walk to a beach and a pub, then you could not fault it. Thank you for a lovely stay, we will absolutely come back."

"I booked this cottage with high expectations, thinking that it would be as charming as it is depicted in the photos. Admittedly the garden is lovely and the views are breathtaking, but unfortunately the cottage itself is a bit of a shambles with a smashed bathroom mirror, a badly cracked ceiling and bedroom drawers which are impossible to open. The kitchen cupboard is hanging off it's hinges with nails sticking out. It is also advertised as being 'pet friendly' but the owner complained when we brought our well behaved cat. The staircase is steep and twisty and very difficult for anyone with a disability to contend with and I found it very difficult attempting to get up and down it. The kitchen cupboard contained packets of groceries which were five years out of date, so I wonder how often this is actually cleaned and tidied! The property is advertised as being heated by storage heaters but only one of them actually works. The owner turned up unannounced when we were sitting down to our evening meal, which I found quite disconcerting and intrusive. The cottage is situated along a long, very narrow country lane which is very awkward to reach. I was extremely disappointed as I was looking forward to a lovely holiday, but I would not recommend this property."

"Perfect cottage, perfect location. Treated my parents and our dogs to a post christmas getaway. When we arrived we were very impressed by the outside and secure garden. Then to discover the cozy, well equipped inside. The front room with its log fire was a good send and super homely. The kitchen table offered an opportunity to share a cooked meal, some nice wine and good conversation. The location is excellent, short walk to a vista point of the beautiful llyn valley. And another short walk to an almost empty brach. We are all feeling very rested and impressed by this property. Owner was good communicator. Would highly recommend to and family. We will be going back next year."

"There were two families including two teenagers and a baby sharing this cottage for a week. We all fell in love with the cottage and enjoyed the roaring fire every night. The kitchen was well equip and the appliances were of a high quality and worked wonderfully. We loved the location although the walk back to the cottage at night was always a killer. If you have problems with walking you will definitely need to drive out at night. We have visited abersoch every year for the past 20 years and are happy to have found this gem of a cottage. We are definitely considering a return here in the future."

"This is a charming, well presented cottage, in an ideal location just a 10 minute walk to the beach. The accomodation was clean and to be frank the brochure photo's don't do the cottage a 100% justice. The views are fantastic and a quick walk and you are up on the headland with great views of abersoch and the mountains in the opposite direction. We had a great holiday and the owners allows a dog too - a real benefit. Well done to the owners."

"Quirky cottage in a good location, coastal walks on your doorstep, waking up to stunning views we used the cottage as a base for an activity weekend spread across the peninsula. Lovely to relax beside the log fire on returning in the evening. Will definitely look into staying again."
